We need the support of the public and people on this! Believe it or not, most students do stand for liberty and free speech, but it is the powers (professors, large corporations) and culture on campus that keeps us down. Please support us by spreading the word!

Found you through Ilya Shapiro. Looks like another home for a kindred spirit. (I'm old--almost 71--so I'm especially appalled that universities are infringing on free speech. Leaving home and going to university was the first time I got to have free speech!)

As a foreigner to your country, I would like more focus on the other parts of the West as well (like you did with The Coddling) -- but I have had to admit a long while ago, obtorto collo -- that what happens at the core of the Empire sends waves everywhere. Like with Critical Social Justice, the plague infects Canada and Europe, Australia and New Zealand as well, each country in its own way, but it is in the USA that it manifests at its most virulent, as a sort of threatening omen.
I look forward to reading about the solution... because I am old, but not dead yet, and I DO need hope.
Listened to your Lex Fridman podcast. Want to commend you on your free speech work, but especially commend you on your discussion about depression. I appreciate your openness and transparency. I will absolutely be checking out your work, and hope to support your causes.
Especially for the line between speach and violance. I grew up in the netherlands in the 70's and so remind us kids scanting "schelden doet geen zeer maar slaan blijf je af" (name wording doesn't hurt but you're not alowed to hit me).
I understand that people would want no hitting and no name calling. The world would certainly be better. But limiting free speech certainly isn't the solution. Educating yourself and your own kids to be resilient is.
Don't know if you read french ? Would like to recommend you a book from a french contemporary filosopher on the history of philosophie and the cycles in florishement of new ideas (thus free speech) alternating with periods of dogmatism (thus canceling free speech).

Is there any speech at all, any position which someone could take, any inappropriate or even criminal action which would in any way justify them being "canceled"?
I heard your Lex Friedman interview and one question i thought was not addressed was the number of religious universities in the US. I then saw that in your rankings you excluded universities such as “Brigham Young” and others whose values specifically didn’t include freedom of speech from your rankings.
Why wouldn’t you hold these centers of learnings and important social institutions to the same standards as other educational institutions? Or do you think it might look bad if those who are critical of “cancel culture” on the left were also exposed as being very capable of cancelling points of view they disagree with. Would appreciate if you could point me in the direction of an article that explains your thinking on this?

I like to read about extremism, radical life, free expression of hatred...
It's amazing to freely express your hatred in such a way that a straight man attacks a faggot and brutally beats him up.
