Hi greg. Had a discussion with my children's orthodontist last week and she shared her experiences with more unruly parents (than me, at least) and patients which led to our discussion of safetyism, college campuses, and cognitive distortions addressed in CBT. Obviously, I ended our chat with a recommendations of Coddling. Thank you for your help making me conversationally intelligent enough to expect the disturbing interlude of our discussion about only children of single parents.

Regarding your take on the Supreme Court’s Netchoice decision. Thinking about Section 230.

Isn’t there a conflict in the reasoning behind exempting Social Media from liability because it can’t control user content and protecting their right to control user content?

In other words, shouldn’t Social Media companies who censor experts like Battachary (Murthy v Missouri) be held liable for the damages to their reputations or what about those who are damaged because they were denied the right to hear science?

I think we should get some attorneys general from various conservative states to work at shutting down the publishing in their state of anything by NYT.

Give NYT a taste of its own medicine. Force them to insist on their right to publish any point of view they care to. And then force them explain why they think that right only applies to progressives.
